What is RATON REPEL™?

RATON REPEL™ are botanical rodent deterrent sachets filled with a concentrated blend of peppermint and cedarwood — two scents that are pleasant to humans and neurologically overwhelming to rats and mice. Each sachet is an EPA 25(b) minimum-risk exempt product containing zero rodenticide, zero anticoagulant, and zero synthetic chemical.

Active Botanical Compounds

• Peppermint oil (Mentha piperita, 35% menthol) — rodents have 40x more sensitive olfactory receptors than humans; menthol concentration at this level causes sensory avoidance behavior documented in Mus musculus studies
• Cedarwood oil (Juniperus virginiana) — cedrol disrupts rodent pheromone communication; also repels insects that attract rodents (grain beetles, pantry moths)

How long does each sachet last? 60–90 days under normal indoor conditions. Replace when the scent is no longer detectable to humans.

Will this work on squirrels or other wildlife? Primarily effective against Rattus norvegicus (Norway rat), Rattus rattus (roof rat), and Mus musculus (house mouse). May deter squirrels in enclosed spaces.
